Using Bullets

Reader rating: 3 out of 10

When having a list of things in a document, it is helpful to keep the list organized.  Using bullets is one way of doing this.

Using Bullets

1.  Click the Format menu and click Bullets and Numbering from the menu that appears.

2.  Select the type of bullets you want to use.

3.  Or, you can click the Numbered tab and select a numbering style.

4.  Click OK.

5.  When finished using the list with bullets or numbers, simply press the Enter key twice.

Tip: You can automatically start a numbered list by typing the number followed by a period.  (1. , 2. , 3. , etc.)  Word will then automatically format the numbered list for you.
