Do you frequently write text which you don't want Word's spelling and grammar checking tool to check?

This How-To Article shows you how to omit selected text from a spell check.


Omitting Text Selections From Spell Check

1. Highlight the text which you would like to omit from a spell check.

2. Click the Tools menu, point to "Language", and select "Set Language...".

3. Check the "Do not check spelling or grammar" check box.

4. Click OK.

5. The text which was just selected will now be exempt from a spell check in the current document.
