Readability Statistics

Want to find out how many sentences your document has? Or how many characters or words are in your document? Are you interested in knowing how easy it is to read your document?

This How-To Article shows you how to view readability statistics each time you run spelling/grammar check.

Readability Statistics

1. Click the Tools menu and select "Options...".

2. Click the "Spelling & Grammar" tab.

3. Check the "Show readability statistics" check box.

4. Click OK.

5. Now, each time a spelling/grammar check is complete, a dialog box with helpful readability information will display.

Tip: To disable showing readability statistics after a spelling/grammar check, just uncheck the check box in "Step 3".
