Easily Read Word Documents

Reader rating: 5 out of 10

Is thin, black text difficult to read on a bright, white background?

This How-To Article shows you a tip to make your Word documents more easily readable while editing.

Easily Read Word Documents

1. Click the Tools menu and select "Options...".

2. Click the "General" tab.

3. Check the "Blue background, white text" check box.

4. Click OK.

5. Now when you are working on your Word documents, the text will be more easily readable.

Note: The colors shown by selecting this option will not be printed. Your text will still be printed black text on a white background (unless you change the text color yourself). This option just makes editing Word documents easier.
