Display Shortcut Key ScreenTips

Find out what toolbar buttons do as you learn keyboard shortcuts for them! When you mouse over buttons on Word or PowerPoint's toolbars, you will notice that ScreenTips display telling you what the buttons do. Wouldn't it be great if keyboard shortcuts could be displayed with the ScreenTip?

Display Shortcut Key ScreenTips

1. Open Microsoft Word.

2. Click the Tools menu and select "Customize..." from the menu that appears.

3. Click the "Options" tab.

4. Check the "Show shortcut keys in ScreenTips" check box.

5. Click the "Close" button.
