Hide Desktop Icons

This How-To Article shows you how to hide the Desktop icons when you are using the Active Desktop. Hide Desktop Icons 1. Right-click a blank spot on the Desktop and select “Properties” from the menu that appears. 2. Click the “Effects” tab. 3. Check the “Hide icons when the desktop is view as a Web page” check box. This will cause the icons to be hidden if you have the Active Desktop enabled. Tip: The Desktop icons will only be hidden if you have the Active Desktop enabled.
