Print Web Backgrounds
Reader rating: 3 out of 10 Introduction By default, Internet Explorer is set not to print background colors and patterns. This speeds up printing and saves printer ink. Sometimes, however, you may want the backgrounds of pages printed. This How-To Article shows you how to change Internet Explorer's settings to print the background and background colors of web pages. Print Web Backgrounds 1. Open Internet Explorer. 2. Click the Tools menu and select "Internet Options..." from the menu that appears. 3. Click the "Advanced" tab. 4. Scroll down to the "Printing" section of the Settings: list. 5. Check the "Print background colors and images" check box. 6. Click Apply. 7. Click OK. Tip: To disable printing of web page backgrounds, just uncheck the check box.
