Customize the Mouse

Click the Start button, point to Settings, and select "Control Panel" from the menu that appears. 2. Double-click the "Mouse" icon from the menu that appears. 3. The most common customization is the mouse cursor. Click the "Pointers" tab and select a new scheme from the drop-down menu. 4. The "Basics" tab provides options on pointer speed, double-click speed, and button selection. Note: If you do not use the IntelliMouse, then the Basics tab may not appear. In this case, click the "Motion" tab. 5. Once you have finished changing settings, click the Apply button. 6. Click OK.
