Is the Taskbar taking up too much space on your screen?
This How-To Article explains how to "auto-hide" the Taskbar. By auto-hiding the Taskbar, it will only appear when you move the mouse near the Taskbar area.
Hide the Taskbar
1. Right-click the Taskbar.
2. From the menu that appears, select "Properties".
3. Check the "Auto hide" check box from the window that appears.
Note: Be sure that you are on the "Taskbar Options" tab from the window that appears.
