This How-To Article explains how you can get more information on the icons you have on your Desktop.

Icon Information

1. Select an icon. (If you are using web-mode, mouse-over the icon until it is highlighted. If you are using regular Windows mode, single-click an icon.)

2. Press ALT+Enter.

3. Information (Properties) on the icon you selected will be shown.

4. Once you have finished reviewing information, click OK.

Tip: You can also right-click a shortcut and select "Properties" to receive the same information about the icon.
