List the Control Panel on the Start Menu
Reader rating: 6 out of 10 Introduction If you frequently need to access the Control Panel, you can add a "Control Panel" item to the Start menu, which when pointed at will display all of the Control Panel selections. List the Control Panel on the Start Menu 1. Right-click the Start button and choose "Explore". 2. Right-click the right-pane of the window that appears (the part that lists the folders in the Start menu), point to New, and select "Folder" from the menu that appears. 3. Once the folder is created, type (without the quotes): "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}". 4. Press Enter. 5. The code you just typed in will change to "Control Panel". 6. Now, when you click Start, you will have a "Control Panel -->" option on the Start menu.
