Viewing Folders as Web Pages

Reader rating: 4 out of 10

If you are running Windows 98, you can view your folders as web pages.

Viewing your folders are web pages can help you preview your files. When you view folders as web pages, you will see a preview of the document, as well as information on its size, date created, and date modified.

Viewing Folders as Web Pages

1. Double-click the My Computer icon from the Desktop.

2. Navigate to the folder you want to view as a web page.

3. Once at that folder, click the View menu and select "as Web Page" from the menu that appears.

4. The folder you are currently in will change to Web Page View.

Tip: You can turn Web Page View off by clicking "as Web Page" again. The check mark next to this option will disappear.
