Introduction

How do you open Windows Explorer? Generally, you would right-click the Start button and select "Explore...". But what if you are already in a folder which you want to explore?

This How-To Article shows you how to open Windows Explorer from the My Computer window.

Open Windows Explorer

1. Navigate to the folder above the folder which you would like to explore.

2. Right-click the folder which would like to explore, and select "Explore" from the menu that appears.

3. Windows Explorer will open, with the path already at the folder selected.
