Display Black End Slide
Reader rating: 5 out of 10 Introduction Tired of needing to add a blank slide at the end of your presentation so you can be sure that viewers don't see PowerPoint's main screen? This How-To Article explains how to set PowerPoint's options to display a blank black slide at the end of your presentation. Once you see the black slide, you can simply click to exit the presentation. Display Black End Slide 1. Click the Tools menu and select "Options..." from the menu that appears. 2. Click the "View" tab. 3. Check the "End with black slide" check box. 4. Click the OK button. 5. Now, once you click through the last slide in your presentation, a black screen will display. Leave this screen displayed as long as you want to, and simply click (or press a key) to end the presentation. Note: You must set this option for each computer that you use PowerPoint on. This option is independent of the presentation, and is applied to each presentation viewed on the computer that you change the setting on.
