Disable AutoFit

Reader rating: 5 out of 10

Introduction

PowerPoint 2000 brings you the feature of "AutoFit". This feature will automatically resize text in a text box allowing you to fit more text. You may sometimes want to leave the size as-is, and format the size yourself.

Disable AutoFit

1. Click the Tools menu and select "Options..." from the menu that appears.

2. Click the Edit tab.

3. Uncheck the "Auto-fit text to text placeholder".

4. Click OK.

Tip: Checking this box again will enable AutoFit again.
