Using Action Buttons
Reader rating: 4 out of 10 Introduction In PowerPoint, you will typically click the screen to change slides. If you want to do some other event, you can add an Action Button. This How-To Article explains how to use Action Buttons. Using Action Buttons 1. Move to the slide that you want to add the Action Button to. 2. Click the Slide Show menu, point to Action Buttons and select select the type of button you want to use. 3. Drag the size and shape of the button on the slide. 4. Click the event you would like to execute when the button is clicked. 5. Select the correct options for your event. Tip: Action Buttons can be helpful in linking to other web sites. 6. Once you finish selecting options, click OK. Tip: By right-clicking the Action Button and choosing "Format AutoShape", you can change the color and font of the button.
