Link to a Program
Reader rating: 6 out of 10 Introduction You may sometimes want to link to another program on your computer, when it can enhance your presentation. Link to a Program 1. Move to the slide that you would like to create a link on. 2. Click the Slide Show menu, point to Action Buttons, and select the type of button you would like to use as a link. 3. Position the mouse pointer to the place that you would like the action button to be, and click and drag the button out to the desired size and shape. 4. From the window that appears, click the "Run Program:" option. 5. Click the "Browse..." button, navigate to the program you want to run, and click it. 6. Click OK. 7. Click OK again. 8. Your Action Button is now set up, and when you click it while running your PowerPoint Presentation, the program you specified will run.
