Calibrating the Digitizer

Reader rating: 3 out of 10

When you turn on your Palm for the first time, you calibrated your digitizer (the touch-sensitive screen). After time, this calibration can be less accurate, therefore making your taps on the screen less accurate.

This How-To Article explains how to calibrate the digitizer.

Calibrating the Digitizer

1. Go to the Applications screen (tap the Home button).

2. From the list of Applications, tap "Prefs".

3. Tap the top right drop-down menu and select "Digitizer".

4. A target will appear on the screen. Tap the center of this target.

5. Continue tapping these targets until you receive a "Digitizer successfully calibrated" message.

6. Tap the screen.

Tip: The more accurate you tap the center of the targets, the more accurate your screen taps will be.
