Backlight Style

Reader rating: 6 out of 10

Introduction

Did you know that your Palm OS handheld has two types of backlights? The newer version is called "inverted backlighting". This type of backlighting only illuminates the active pixels.

Switching between the inverted backlighting and normal backlighting is easy with this How-To Article.

Backlight Style

1. Open the Memo Pad.

2. Tap the "New" button.

3. Write: shortcut symbol.8

4. You will see the words "[Inverting Backlight]".

5. To go to the normal backlight, just write: shortcut symbol.8 again.

6. If you write this again, you will see "[Normal Backlight]".

Note: Be sure that you draw the shortcut symbol on the screen instead of writing "shortcut symbol".
