There is a bug in Microsoft Outlook 2000 which causes attachments not to be sent in the messages.  There are several solutions to this problem.

To completely fix this problem, follow these directions.

1.  To fix this problem entirely, download and install the Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a. You can find the download and instructions for using this download at:

To temporarily fix this problem, follow the directions below.

2.  You can either upgrade to Microsoft Word 2000, do not use Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor, or use a different mail format.

It is, however, highly recommended that you install this service pack instead of using an alternative.

Note:  Please also note that if you use RTF (Rich Text Files) for your e-mail format, attachments are automatically removed if your mail server does not support the RTF format.
