Resend a Message

Reader rating: 6 out of 10

Introduction

Sometimes a mail server may be down and your message may never be received by its recipient(s). Rather than typing the message again, Microsoft Outlook makes resending a message easy to do.

Resend a Message

1. Click the Sent Items folder from the Outlook Shortcuts bar (or from the Folder List).

2. Double-click the message you want to resend.

3. Click the Actions menu, and select "Resend This Message..." from the menu that appears.

4. You can now make and changes you need to the message.

5. Click the Send button. The message will now be sent out again.
