Display New Mail Notification

This How-To Article shows you how to have Outlook alert you of new E-mail with a dialog box. Display New Mail Notification 1. Click the Tools menu and select "Options...". 2. Click the "Preferences" tab. 3. Click the "E-mail Options..." button. 4. Check the "Display a notification message when new mail arrives" check box. 5. Click OK. 6. Click OK. Tip: To disable this type of notification, just uncheck the check box in "Step 4".
