Determine FrontPage Extensions Version

This How-To Article shows you how to determine the version of FrontPage Extensions running on your server. Determine FrontPage Extensions Version 1. Click the File menu and select "Open Web...". 2. In the "Web name:" text box, enter the location that you publish your web site to. (For example, if your web site's address is www.mysite.com, then enter "http://www.mysite.com".) 3. Click the "Open" button. 4. A username/password box dialog will appear. Enter the username and password you use when publishing your web site. 5. Click OK. 6. Click the Tools menu and select "Web Settings...". 7. Click the General tab. 8. Will will find the version number at the "FrontPage Server Extensions version:" part of the General tab. Tip: The server software and version is also displayed in this dialog. 9. Click OK.
