Insert Multiple Lines

This How-To Article shows you how to insert multiple lines in an Excel spreadsheet cell. Insert Multiple Lines 1. Click the cell which you would like to include multiple lines of text in. 2. Type the first line of text you would like in the cell. 3. Press ALT + Enter to add another line to the cell. Tip: Continue pressing ALT + Enter until the cursor is to the place where you would like to type your next line of text. 4. Type the next line of text you would like in the cell. 5. Continue Steps 3-4 until you have finished inserting the lines and text you need. 6. Press Enter.
