Set the Decimal Place

This How-To Article shows you how to set the decimal place in Excel. Set the Decimal Place 1. Click the cell which you would like to change the decimal places for. (Or, highlight more than one cell to apply this option to multiple cells.) 2. Click the Format menu and select "Cells...". 3. Click the "Number" tab. 4. From the "Category:" list, select "Number". 5. In the "Decimal places:" text box, enter the number of decimal places you would like Excel to keep. 6. Click OK.
