E-mail a Workbook

Reader rating: 4 out of 10

You can easily send a workbook directly from Excel's interface. The workbook or worksheet will be sent through your E-mail program as an attachment.

E-mail a Workbook

1. Click the File menu, point to Send To, and select "Mail Recipient (as Attachment)".

2. The currently open Excel Workbook will be added as an attachment to a new message.

3. Complete the message, including the "To:", "Subject:", and any other fields. (It is recommended that you include some text in the Body: of the message, otherwise the recipient may not know what the Excel Workbook is for.)

4. Click Send.
